new Macbook owner. some questions

Hello. I am new to mac os, this is my first macbook at all.
i really love this macbook 12 2017 version. i use it for doing my private work by going outside to any place.

Often i simple connect with teamviewer to my computer at home and work like i am at home.

i have some questions, maybe some advanced users can help me with this.

1. is teamviewer a good remote access version for mac os, so fastest most easy way with best result? did some people test different ways (i connect to windows 10 computers)

2. often i am in places where the wlan connection is broken some minutes and i need to switch to hotspot from my mobil phone .....
is there a was to be alerted (message or sound) when the internetconnection is there and when its broken? this would be help a lot, because often i see wlan connection is perfect, but nothing happens because it works until the router, but no connection to the internet.

or this there even a way , that a little program is running and show each time the current speed of the internet connection in the upper menu bar of the macbook???

3. what are helpers and usefull programs to install on the mac for a new starter. i am coding with metatader (simple broker software), so maybe some programs that make some things on mac more easy to switch or use in generell. like bettertouchtool...

4. do is need a anti virus program?

5. whats the best way to install metatader on mac? maybe this question is to special, i dont want install windows as bootcamp ( i like mac os for its fast fluid way) or a solution like "parallels", because i only did buy the 8 gb ram laptop.

6. will it harm the batterie when i use at home the laptop with the charger inside all the time? or is it good to do so and have so a longer healthy batterie, because it dont use batterie at this moment, when its full loaded..... or will its still use batterie and reaload all the time??? i dont know how mac os or macbooks handling this...

7. i get my apple watch in next days.... i hope i can use it good for my iphone and as password saving for my macbook, are there very good time saving moments i can use the macbook connected to apple watch and iphone?

8. what is at the moment the best add blocker for safari on the mac os?

9. is it possible to add other functions to active corners, or only what is there as standard ? or I can only add more by using 3. party programs like bettertouchtool?

1. Teamviewer is good but recently they seem to flag everything for suspected commercial use.

3. Don't have an answer, very subjective.
4. No. I would suggest not installing programs from non-reputable sources. In the event you must, do it in a VM. However, DO get ublock origin for safari and any other browser you use. (there is a fork for safari since it isn't officially supported)
5. You can use "WINE" aka PlayOnMac, its a winapi wrapper that will let you run the program.
6. I only charge when battery is low. If you are doing heavy tasks I guess staying plugged in is okay.
