Hey guys! Well a couple of months ago I trashed my Macbook White Late 2009 with a glass of Cuba Libre:eek:! Now I want to buy the new Macbook Pro 13 inch i5, but I have been hearing a lot of bad things about this computer. So my question is: should I wait or buy it now?

I'm not sure what bad things you have heard. They may run a couple degrees warmer, but I think that's about it. No reason to wait for anything, it would be quite a while.

The biggest thing people are complaining about is the video card when compared to the 13" model it's replacing is kinda a side-grade. Slightly better in some areas and slightly worse in others.

For you, coming from a Macbook, the 13" is going to be a pretty big step up for you.

A lot of the other "issues" that are being reported are being blown out of proportion on this forum.

How dare you.... how dare you ruin a perfectly good glass of Cuba Libre with a laptop!

The nerve of some people :)

At the moment i thought the same thing, the day after was the hard one ^^

But well I bought the Macbook Pro 13" i5 and I'm actually very pleased with the results, the only thing that bothers me is the temperature the Laptop sometimes can reach thats all!

i have had the MBP i5 for a week and i had an 2007 Black MacBook. All I can say is get it. It is well worth the money and if you Live Near a Micro Center it's $999. So hope you One get you will be Pleased!!!!!!!!!!:)

I to went from a Black MacBook (Late 2006) to the MacBook Pro i5. So far I'm pleased with it. I just placed an order for 8gb of ram so hopefully it will be that much better.
