New Macbook Pro 13"

I ordered my new macbook pro, the day it was updated :) and it has 2.53GHZ 8gb ram, and 500gb drive, should I also purchase apple care for it now, or wait until the default care runs out???:apple::apple::apple:
 
Well you have a year to buy it, which will be my personal route of choice. It's a matter of whether you have the money now or not.
 
I love the mixed replies, yea, I think ill get it, NOW I CANT WAIT FOR IT TO GET HERE!!!!!!! ill post pics when it arrives!
 
if you don't purchase it within 3 months..doesn't the phone support run out?
if you have an apple store near you i guess that wouldn't matter.
 
I'd personally wait, and I would purchase it off of ebay for a substantially lower price. The reason I say to wait is that you never know what could happen. You could have an accident and drop it, voiding your warranty, or it could be stolen, etc. Maybe it's just because I'm a procrastinator. :)
 
Ive never bought apple care for one of my computers, and I have no idea how it works, and I dont know if it'd be a good idea to purchase it off of ebay or not.
 
I recieved my new macbook this morning around 9:00 via fedex, and its AWESOME, SUPER FAST. Love the sd slot. and I will post pics later today, let me know if you have any specific spots of the computer you want pictures of!

Please tell me about the common audio in/out port. How does it work? How do you talk and listen in the same time if you want to have a video chat through iChat for example?

The system has a built-in mic which works fine...
 
im sorry, but what exactly is an sata connection and how to i find out what it is?
 
you can upgrade by doing either way, however if you do it somewhere other than apple, the warranty ONLY on the ram would be void.

There is not a common audio in/out on the 17". There are separate input and outputs.
 
its easy to use, however you wouldnt talk and listen at the same time, unless you had headphones (which you wouldnt need because you the speakers) with a mic (which you also wouldnt need since there is a built in mic) attached.
 
the one think i do not like about the laptop, is when you rest your hands on the mac to type, and your wrists are on the corner, and its a 90 degree angle so it jabs into your wrists, it may be different for you all but its just an observation
