I'm a PC user pretending to switch to macOS soon, I'm waiting for a new 16" even thouth if they release a refresh it will be a minor update, I expect Apple to fix some common issues like audio popping or ghosting so, you guys think that there will be a refresh anytime soon? Maybe WWDC? Thanks :)

I doubt there will be anything until at least AMD releases RDNA 2 mobile GPU. Probably fall at the earliest. As it took a while after RDNA came out for the 2019 16" to come out. Although Apple could be waiting for Rocket Lake next year. Then again Apple has used the same generation CPU for multiple GPU generations in the MBP. So, it could just be an RDNA 2 update with no CPU update until Intel releases a 7nm HQ series CPU. If Intel skips 10nm in the HQ series. That's assuming they don't move to ARM or finally admit they should use AMD CPU for now.

No chance it'll happen at WWDC, most likely end of the year or early next year.

Don't see the ghosting issue going away anytime soon.

Rumours have it that apple have delayed their mini led MacBooks till 2021, even then we aren't guaranteed a higher refresh rate screen.
