Bait and switch scam...

Low price, telephone confirmation required.

Likely they will ask you to order a high priced warranty, or upsell you from the 30 minute factory battery to the high priced not sold in stores 5 hour battery.

Or their special wireless card.

The factory battery is what comes from Apple... Right???? there is no 5 hour not sold in store battery... right???

Is it worth the gamble?

You might get hit with a sneaky price increase ...

Probably an e-mail saying their is a problem, and they will be shipping out the computer right away and billing your credit card $2143.

I wouldn't trust it but I would buy a student ADC membership and use that discount to get a mbp for about the same price they have listed.

wow. Thats some great pricing! Even for the one thats authorized reseller. Interesting it seems i worked for a few retailers and right now im working with best buy and their apple cost isnt nearly as low as the prices that these guys offer. Apple never tend to sell their product for low as mac hardware isn't really worth the price, its the os and software that comes with it that racks up the bill ( Good will and brand equity ). Even apple corporate staff get their stuff for about that much. So what i am wondering is how do these guys make money?:apple:

Just get a refurbished one from Apple, if you go for the 17" MBP you may get a very good price at the moment, and sometimes refurbished products are even new. Plus you'll get Apples 1 year warranty and support. Dont waste your time looking for old machines from scam resellers.
