Rumor has it that shortly Apple will be releasing their new Macbook pro. Anyone think so??? Man will I be happy if they do!!!

i hope, but i wreally dont want that ugly black MBA keyboard om the MPB!
so i am worried for that!

maybe i order wery soon!

The rumor is in the Final Cut presentation, isn't it?

Hope so, I really do. I have been waiting too long :p

We'll soon find out tomorrow, but the event organisers don't seem to agree with the rumours, although they have admitted that they don't know what Apple are planning.

MAN, I would be so over the moon if a new MBP is announced tomorrow :D

Anyone know what time the Final Cut Pro Meeting is?

If they did do something tomorrow, i might actually consider canceling my Mac Pro order as it's a bit over kill for what i do. But i just wanted the latest CPU!

So today is the 16th of january isn't it?
So IF they really want to introduce a new MBP, then wouldn't they've done it by now?

looks like the session is 2 days long. maybe it's their big finale announcement?

i had a debatably reliable source tell me to wait untl jan 17th before i buy anything. so... i don't know if it'll end up being good advice.

Let's hope for the best......

oh ok really that late?

I live in europe and now its about 11 pm. So when I wake up next morning, I'll check back to this thread for some serious mbp upgrades ;D

Yeah, I live in UK so 7PM will be 4AM here... Would love to stay up and wait in anticipation but I have uni tomorrow at 10AM then working 2-6PM :(

I guess when I wake up, the news (whatever it is) will be plastered all over this forum :)

they said they will presesnt their product just "a day after the keynote". Today is the day... what time is the meeting? And why would this product be a new MacBook Pro? I would think it would be something more towards the film industry.

If it's a Final Cut meeting, it'd be something to do with video, methinks. Maybe a new revolutionary software package: Final Cut Air? I don't see how a MBP revision would fit in with that meeting personally.. Sorry for the pessimism - I'm still a bit groggy from the key note. Ugh, it hurts..

oh my days!! Apple should just release the MBP so that everybody can get one and get on with their lives. :D

While to some extent, I do agree with these to some extent, I guess I'm just wanting a MBP so badly, I'm willing to hope for anything :p

Their are rumours of a replacement for Shake and an updated version of Final Cut Studio 2, but I can't see this happening when workshops will be going on all day (and tomorrow) using the current software (not the updated versions). So I don't know. Updated software at this point wouldn't make sense.
