Hey guys,

I recently bought a brand new 2014 rMBP 15", and after it has been sleeping for a few hours the swap and compressed memory sit between 500-600MB. When I look at memory used it shows I'm using around 2GB of 16GB, so I know I have plenty of RAM. I just wanted to know if it's normal to swap and compress while sleeping.

I've never noticed it on my iMac, but maybe I'm just being paranoid over my new investment... :D

Thanks for taking the time to read and reply,
J
