A Quick Question...

Is the 85W Power Supply bundled with the new MBPs exactly the same model that came with the last generation MBPs? :apple:

I could have sworn they showed it was dropped to a 60w in the keynote but the tech specs section on the website says 85w. Either way the 85w would work because the tech articles in the support section says you can use a 85w MBP to charge a 60w MB.

I have one from an old MBP that was replaced under warranty so I hope they are the same. According to the tech specs under the mac section of apple.com they should be the same.

Yes, it is exactly the same model as the one I have for my last generation MBP: Model No. A1222.

Same with Australia?

Seems to be - it's the same size etc. Definitely 85W too.

You'd think they'd just go 85W on everything so they don't have to make three different sized power adapters. Sure the MBA one might get a bit bigger but it would save having three different manufacturing lines.
