New MacBook Pro at a good deal!

I was going back and forward with which Mac should I get. I am a long time pc user and just could not see myself converting.

I want to get into creating apps for the iphone and ipad, so obviously I needed an Apple. I thought about getting the new MBA 11" but did not know if that would be sufficient for programming...still don't know.

But moving on..Micro Center has the MBP 13.3" 4gb Ram for 999.99 so I jumped on it! Still trying to get used to it..but pretty happy so far.

So now that I am apart of the Mac Crew...Where do I start?

Btw, what has your thread title to do with the content of your thread, or the question you have asked?

MRoogle is a good tool to search these fora for already existing threads about questions you have. It might be able to answer you quicker than waiting for an answer.

I was in need for a laptop also, I have the macmini, and the whole back to school event was happening, so i was debating on buying the mbp from apple and then selling the ipod touch, but i didnt want to go thru all the hassle so i realized that my local microcenter had it for 999.99 as well...and they said they had been doing it for atleast 4 months now, (this was in september) its been great so far, saved alot of money and was able to get my accessories without breaking the bank.
