Ok well I got my new macbook battery, directly from apple about almost a week ago.

I installed it, let it drain dead for a couple of hours then plugged it in over night. But the battery seems to stil drain pretty fast. A little better then the old battery but not much improvement.

Maybe it was always like this? but as i can remember, when i first got my mbp in 2009, the battery use to last for quite a while.

Is it possibly my mac draining the battery? I ran battery health monitor and it detects it as being a good battery.

My Mac:

2.53 core 2 duo
Upgraded to 8 Gb of ram
Upgraded OS from snow leopard to Lion.
