New Macbook Pro / Bootcamp Win7

I have a 2.5" 500GB HDD in my current Windows based laptop. If I removed the optical drive in a macbook pro "13, could I put the 500GB drive from my other PC in the Macbook and boot into windows without having to re-install Windows?

Well, you would need to reinstall the whole thing anyway since the pc and your mac are most likely using different hardware and drivers anyway.
