If it only occurs when you move it then its the SMS sensor Apple uses to park the hard drive. It prevents data loss in case of an impending fall. Try lifting it or moving it suddenly and see if you hear it. If that's the noise your concerned about, don't worry about it, its totally normal.

Also that link was a thread regarding a clicking noise, but the OP had an SSD. It's very unlikely its the spring connector in your case because you have an HDD. Most likely that click noise is the needle in the hard drive.

It seemed to click while I was resting it on my arm of my sofa, and only when I was moving the mouse, loading web pages. Now I'm resting it on my lap and there's no clicking whatsoever.

Strange. :confused:
