Hi everyone. It's been a little over 3 weeks since buying a 15" macbook pro, 2.66.
I've recently noticed that when on or in sleep mode, when I lift the laptop it makes a rattling noise. I have read around and think this is coming from the fans. BUT it only makes the noise when I'm holding it in that one spot (the front, below and a little to the left of the trackpad). I think because I'm pushing into the metal or something with my fingers?
I wanted to get your opinions on this, if this is normal, or if I should get it looked at.
Thanks

this does not seem right, you are definitely not pushing down on a fan, becuz where u are holding it is where the battery is. trying contacting apple support.

OK thanks. I am going to take i to the store on wednesday. So it shouldn't be making ANY noise when lifting it, etc, right?
