New MacBook Pro: not charging under heavy load?

I Just received my new Macbook Pro 15" 2.2Ghz Quadcore. Beside from being a lot louder then my 2010 MacBook Pro 15" 2.66Ghz i7 there is something pretty strange: when I do something cpu-intense (e.g. Handbrake) the battery symbol tells me "not charging" (after displaying some ridiculous charging times of 10 hours or something). Is that normal?
