New Macbook Pro Not Waking Up Completely

I just got my new Macbook Pro 13" yesturday and today I put down the lid and when i came back a few hours later the computer woke up (because I coud hear the processor etc) but the screen did not turn on.

Any solutions or am I just missing something since this is my first mac?
