If Apple does release an upgrade to their MBP, I'd like to hear all of your ideas on as to what it will be. This doesn't just apply to the internal upgrades so let me know your ideas on how Apple might change it physically too. :)

physically i highly doubt anything will be new.
internally the penryn(?) will be most likely an upgrade, other than that i really can't think of anything else they would drastically change in that line up

In the low end 15 inch: 256 MB GPU as standard, 2.5 or 2.6 GHz Penryn

High 15 and 17: 512MB GPU, 2.8 GHz Penryn

Physical changes: None? Rumours of a new touchpad, I dunno about that... and a magnetic latch would be nice. Perhaps (but hopefully not) an illuminated version of the new keyboard layout Apple are in love with.

Oh, and the introduction of a 12 or 13 inch MBP, 128MB Graphics, 2.1 or 2.4GHz Penryn, and significant weight decrease (<5 pounds?)

I'd love to see the minimum GPU spec going to 256MB. We'll see Penryn based MacBook Pro system as well.
