When the new Macbook Pro hits, will it be the same price as the current MBP's prices?

I'd expect to *maybe* see a minor price drop, but nothing too significant.

I would hope to see either the 13" i5 to drop in price or have stock standard i7 instead of BTO, I would also hope to see the entry level 15" drop in price by $100(ish).

But who knows with Apple.

I'm thinking cheaper.
Look at the 2013 Ultimate MBA is now $300 cheaper than the 2012 equivalent. The 512GB SSD upgrade by itself is $200 cheaper.

What a slap in the face to the people who bought the 2012 version.

I guess most of us put up with stinging faces because we want/need it when we want/need it, not next month or next year when the price may go down.

What are you on about? It's still a slap in the face.

Well the new imac went up in price so there is no reason to expect the price to drop if it includes similar tech. Still we can hope.

Right, went up in price so there is no reason to expect the price to drop if it includes similar tech.

Not expecting the price to drop at all... but we can at least expect the prices to remain the same yes?
