Hi, this is my first time posting here. I am looking into buying a new MacBook Pro. So, I was wondering if I should get the 13" 2.4ghz with 320gb ATA harddrive, the 13" 2.4ghz with 128gb SSD harddrive, or the 13" 2.66ghz with 320 ATA harddrive.
I guess I am looking for the best performance, but also at the best value. Thanks in advanced.

You don't say?

It's usually good to give an idea of what you use your machine for.

No matter what he wants to do, the price on the 13" with the 2.66 is a rip!

IMO, if you want a 13", get the base model MBP (2.4 and 250 HDD) for $1199 and upgrade the HDD yourself to whatever you want; then drop the 250 in an external firewire enclosure.

Well, I would be using it for everyday things. I mightake a video or song every once in a while. I also do a little bot of Photoshop-type things often. But besides that, I wouldn't be using it for professional grade things. At this point I am leaning toward the 13" 2.4ghz with 320gb ATA harddrive...

I agree with RedRaven571. Suggesting that you buy the base 13", upgrade the hard drive to an SSD and put the 250GB in an external firewire enclosure.

Best of luck.

Okay, sounds good. One other quick question though. Are the dimensions the same on this last upgrade as they were before the upgrade?
