I have been considering a Macbook Pro purchase since Christmas and noticed that students interest free finance was available from the UK store until Macworld where the offer stopped (presumably as new products would be available)

Today, I noticed interest free finance was again available up until the 31st January. I find it very odd that they would reintroduce this offer so soon after stopping the previous offer especially seeing as it only lasts until Tuesday.

Could the new Macbook Pros emerge then?

EDIT: Sorry guys, I realise now that it is a Thursday not a Tuesday. Still a strange offer to reintroduce though.

I doubt it. Then again, I don't think we're going to see a new MBP until late Spring/early Summer.

Thanks for that info. I'm looking for a new Mac Pro and will possibly use that offer. Apples offers such as this are quite frequent. I wouldn't say it means a new product, although it's interesting that it ends on a Tuesday.

Thanks for the info. I am looking to buy a Mac Pro and a 23" ACD so may use that offer for my purchase.

Apple offers these sorts of offers quite regularly for students because their regular finance terms require customers to be over 22 (or something like that), so most students are unable to use the finance options. Therefore, I don't think it specifically means a new product is coming, but it's certainly interesting that the offer ends on a THURSDAY!

I think it is actually 23. I remember thinking that is very odd considering not a great amount of the student population is that age.

Did anyone notice the price drop in refurb MacBook Pro's the 2.2 15" just went down to 1699. i think this tues new MBP's and New ACD's

I hope they come out with an all new MBP type thing. Hell I'd be happy if there was just a price drop on their current models.

It was like that last week when I was pricing a MBP. I decided to go new because I could pay just $100 more with the education discount.

If the new MBP's are released on Tuesday I will definately be returning mine (mine hasn't even shipped yet).
