First time poster and doing so FYI.

Discovered the bottom of my new 15" MBP (2 weeks old) had a little "warping" effect to it yesterday so I took it to the Genius Bar today and they said that it's a manufacturer's defect and will replace free of charge. Sometimes they have the bottom in stock, but today they did not, so they had to order one. The Genius said he has personal saw only 1 other MBP with this problem, but thought y'all should be aware of it.

Anybody else have this issue?

Sounds like a one time defect. Apple is very good about resolving these types of issues. Once fixed you will be fine.

When you sell over a million Macs per month, a few defective models are inevitable. It's not a big deal. Apple will take care of it.
