i received my MacBook Pro yesterday, i was thrilled
it is revision W8615, one of the latest i think, and guess what? its got some hardware problems, even with a late revision lol. but ive learnt to deal with it
CPU whine - Magic Noise killer, set to run at login, fixed
heat - reset PMU (heard that it helped), use it on desk so not really an issue
no LCD whine atm,no LCD squeek either
Airport doesnt connect when login to account, ive heard this is fixed in 10.4.6, still on 10.4.5
Trackpad works great, except the on the bottom left, it has lifted, sorta popped out to the height of the button, still works, just annoying on an aesthetics side
However, OS X is awesome! easy to use, to install apps is easy, reads with my Window PC easy, finiding with Spotlight is easy, everything easy
thats my experience, probably read 34234 threads on problems with the MBP, but im not dissatisfied
