New MacBook Pro - will the base be no thicker than an iMac?

Would that make the base no thicker than 11.5mm?

Yeah, I don’t like a thick base, especially if it’s biscuit. I’d rather have a sponge base or a pastry base if possible. For me, biscuit bases take away from the actual cake and gives a less enjoyable experience.

Oh right sorry, they’ll keep the base as the same size as the current 16 inch I expect.
