I have a new MacBook Pro, OS X 10.6.4 and already owned an iPhone 3G that was synced to my iBook G4.

My iPhone connects and is recognized in iTunes, but I cannot backup or do anything with the Apps or Music. The photos transferred to iPhoto.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I don't have an iPhone, but if it's anything like an iPod it can only be associated with iTunes on one computer at a time. If you plug it into another computer, you can't modify music stored on it.

A quick google search revealed a couple of other threads that might help you:

Basically, you will need to make sure that all your music library etc. is copied over to your new mac, then you set up the iPhone for use with that computer.
