New Macbook Pro!

Hello Everyone,. This is my First post. I have been a longtime surfer on this website. However I just received my Brand New Macbook Pro.... (Base) 2.4Ghz... So I thought it would only be fitting to finally join this forum community. :)
I would first like to say how much I love this computer.. ....(only after 24 hours)..It is beyond words. **Awesome. ***
In addition, there were many negative things written about the Pro..over the mths I read this site....But I would like to thank all those people who wrote positive things about the macbook pro......because after receiving mine I can see thus far it really is a great computer. :)
I am also glad I did not wait for the next gen pro. as I see many ppl on here trying to do. If you need a computer. get it. ** Don't wait!!! Anyways , I just wanted to say my formal hello. and how much I love this comp.

Congrats on your new MBP. The reason why you only see negative things on this site is because the happy people stay away. Any tiny little problem will be magnified on here. Enjoy your new laptop. I have a 2.4 and love it.
 
Congrats, I'm loving mine too.
Had it 2 months now, and it hasn't put a foot wrong.
 
New MacBook Pro

In common with JNewtonMac, I too, have been a surfer on this site for a while, and have become a switcher only recently, when I treated myself to a MBP as a slightly belated birthday present in April. It is a beautiful machine, fast, powerful and elegant with a superb screen; of course, the exquisite aesthetics appeal, but the very good support I received from Apple when my iPod died within warranty two years earlier and was replaced without fuss, also impressed me. I love the MBP and have admired the elegant design and ease of use of Apple products since acquiring my (first) iPod.

Do you mean Kool Aid in reference to the Jonestown thing, or just something that aids in your coolness? By the way, did you know that they didn't actually drink Kool Aid in the Jonestown suicides? Common misconception. It was actually Flavor Aid, which is either a cheap knock-off or just plain old ghetto Kool Aid. Kind of random, I'm just saying.

Congrats and Welcome... as with "most" users here, I am a HAPPY Owner and on my 2nd MBP only because the first was 1 1/2 years Old.. It still works great for my friend too!! ;)

i suggest you modify your title.
there are a lot of members actually waiting for the " NEW Macbook PRO"
your thread makes it appear that there's a new release..

this will save TIME to a lot of people

well played im getting my MBP or similar in february next year for my birthday! (and my xmas pressie!)

so im gutting it out till then with my 15" and 12" powerbooks!

Congrats and welcome as well. I to am a happy MBP user so maybe we need some more positive comments to help encourage others.

Mine may have had issues but Apple have replaced everything that has broken, and now its 100%
