I have waited 6 monts to buy the second verison of macbook s unibody but unfortunately no store in the los angeles area carries them yet!!!!Does anybody know when and where they will be available??

Well there's free shipping from the Apple online store, so if you're having trouble tracking one down in a B&M then you could always order online.

I was planning on getting an aluminum MacBook or the cheaper polycarbonate MacBook. Maybe I'll just get the $1199 13-inch MacBook Pro instead!

From what I heard, there is none here in San Diego either. I want to walk in and walk out with one. Rather not order online, though I have before. Plus I figure if I buy it from the store itself, easier to take it in if there is an issue.
