I am about to buy a new Macbook Pro 15"

and just wanted to ask if
anyone knows when the updated model is coming out ?

I have heard they come out in September ??
Is that true ? thanks!

According to the Buyers Guide the product is about to be updated. Based on the average days. I'm waiting to upgrade my current MBP anyway. Would nice to see the new multi core chips from Intel (4 would be nice).

All of the evidence (and rumours) point to an upgrade; the real question seems to be whether it will be a tweaking (speed bump, and so on) or a genuinely radical overhaul. At this stage we can't really say, (this is called Mac Rumors, not Mac Facts) but we can hope. Cheers.

All the rumors point to a case redesign next month.

What the other specs will be is still up in the air, although a glass trackpad and a non-Montevina chipset have been rumored. 1067 MHz FSB CPUs are most likely.
