New Macbook user

Hi Guys,
Bought a used late 2008 Macbook Unibody and have a few questions (NOTE: this is my first mac and new to OSx)

1) How do check the revision of my screen panel?

2) How do I make the dock not always on top? Want my whole browser to take the whole screen

3) Is there a way to change the keyboard for a new one? Also the bottom casing of the unibody? Can it be change to a new one?

4) How to check my disk space?

5) What's the best browser for mac? Firefox or Safari?

I might be able to google some of my questions, but since I have a few ??, I'd rather get the answer with people who already has extensive experience with mac.

2. Click the apple in the upper left, Dock, Hide Dock.

3. Check out ifixit.com

4. One way is to right click the HD icon on the desktop and select Get Info.

5. That's personal preference. I use Safari because it's the native app.
