Hello,

I'm planning to get a new MacBook soon and I want to start fresh and NOT use time machine to do a complete backup from my old MacBook.

However, the thing I'm worried about is losing my iTunes media (music, videos, iPhone backups, apps, etc.)
Is there a way I can backup iTunes on my old MacBook and set up my new MacBook from scratch with JUST iTunes being restored from backup?

I have an external hard drive with 1TB, I just don't understand how to put iTunes on that hard drive.

Thanks.
