Hi folks,
I bought a new macbook recently ( mac osx 10.6.1) to replace my much loved, but sadly stolen old model. While the new one has better specs ( at least on paper ) than my old machine I'm finding one problem happening continuously.

When I'm surfing the internet with Safari everything works fine for a bit but pretty soon I find when I try to go to a site ( and it could be a major site such as Youtube, Amazon or even Macrumours ) the page will not load correctly, but usually comes up with a text only version:

If I try to click on a link on the page I invariably get the message 'Safari Can't find the Server'. This often happens in ebay when I've performed a search and click on one of the listed items. When I try to go back a page or two I keep getting the "'Safari Can't find the Server" message. The only thing that seems to work is shutting down Safari and starting again, though this doesn't always work and I occasionally have to reboot to finally access a regular website.

I've tried using Firefox but the same thing keeps happening there. It's never the same sites but seems to happen randomly. I've also tried emptying the cache but that hasn't fixed it. I took my machine to a few different places in case it was my router or the server, but the same problem keeps happening.

Can anyone offer a solution??
Thanks,
Michael.
