Okay I have a couple questions about the new macbooks.

I am thinking about getting one for college to study outside and take to classes and such. One is it tooo small. Secondly, the glossy screen thing do you think I will be able to see it outside and study. That is basically why I want a laptop so incase people are doing stupid stuff in the dorm I can get away. Plus where I am going is really pretty outside.

Glossy = to much glare?

well, i had my 12'' powerbook, and from indoors with alot of sunlight coming in it gets hard to see your screen. True there is no glare, but the sunlight cancels out your backlight. When i was outside with it, well... there wasnt much of a point in taking it out.

So far Im pretty impressed with my glossy screen macbook. With alot of sunlight indoors, there is a little glare. But you can tilt the screen so it doesnt bother you. I would imagine outside I would have alot of glare, but atleast I will be able to see my screen.
