Last night the forums were closed for upgrading and this what i have noticed!
I have noticed that it says our join date now, and my main question is...What is with the quotes below every ones post? I click it turns orange, i cick it agang its normal?

EDIT: ALSO, the arrow next to some ones user name when you quote their message!

It's a multiple-quotes-in-a-reply-thingy. If there are a couple of posts in a thread you want to quote in your reply, click on the button in each of the posts in question. All the ones that you select will then be quoted once you click 'reply'.

Just testing it out!

What I don't like is that after the first post there appears some promotional ads.

EDIT: now I see thats only when you are offline.

And the new "Reason for Editing" is cool

I thought we've always had the join date?.... Maybe it's some other forum I visit. That multiple quote thing is nifty. I used to just open them in new tabs and then copy and paste.

No the join date is recent. IMHO it doesnt really mean much as you dont need to know how long they have been on the site if they have contributed a lot.
