Hi everyone,

Currently, have a 2011 Mac Mini and Late 2013 Macbook Pro 13 inch. just a few questions here.

I've just got a 2018 Mac Mini i5 model and was going to be updating over to 32 gb of RAM. I also have a new 2019 Macbook Pro 16 inch base model coming my way - this is with the stock 16 gb RAM / 512 gb HD.

I work in graphic design mostly in Illustrator / Photoshop so those machines will cover those needs.

My question is due to the ARM announcement, I'm debating to return the 2018 Mac Mini and keep the 16 inch Macbook Pro as the main machine. I work on the 2011 Mac Mini so I can keep using my Adobe CS5 apps but looks like I'll have to give up and get Creative Cloud subscription... sigh....

Can you set up things with a Thunderbolt dock so it is switchable between the Mac Mini / Macbook Pro?
I have a 27 inch monitor and accessories already.

Just having a bit of buyers remorse/doubt.

Cheers,
CWO

Only way to switch Thunderbolt 3 is disconnect/reconnect the cable or use a Thunderbolt 2 KVM which reduces bandwidth (I don't think a Thunderbolt 3 KVM exists yet).
