Hey,

I'm wondering whether this new magic keyboard might replace for old, faulty butterfly keyboard in older macbook?
Actually, that's the only way to sort out the problem of badly designed butterfly keybord which is pain in the as for users.

What do you think guys?

No chance in hell design-wise – it just wouldn't fit (if I understand you correctly that you think about it as a replacement part for already existing MacBooks).

As much as I would like that to happen, it won't happen.
Apple should follow this path to fix it properly, because people just got stuck with faulty designed piece of garbage which will broke eventually after some time. It's like never ending story. Trap as hell.
