New magic Mouse?

Just picked up a magic mouse as I heard the rumours that they were going to be discontinued(also heard it straight from an apple rep) but then I started thinking are they discontinuing it because they are going to be coming out with something to replace? Anyone have any insight into this? If so I would return the magic mouse as I really don't have that much of a need for it right now just thought i would pick one up incase the rumours were true.

The latest update is that it will not be discontinued, but rather that there is at least going to be a model number change, and possibly an update to the hardware:

The rumor was retracted. The real question is when and how it will be improved.

I am guessing Bluetooth 4.0 (for better battery life), more ergonomic design, and more gestures.

Hope they do something better. I bought and sold after one month my magic mouse.
That thin design makes my wrist hurts!

I just read that they will try to phase it out over time and may even start shipping iMac's with MTP. I hope not, not a big fan of the MTP, like my MM.
