Resolved New mailbox in my gmail account

Hello everybody,

Since a week, mail.app (french version) shows a new mailbox in my gmail tab, called "important". How can i delete this ?

couple of ways to do this

log into gmail in your browser and go to the mail settings

under the labels option, you can take the tick out of show in imap for important, this will leave the important label on the web but you wont see it in mail

or

under the inbox options, there is an option for important and unread which you can remove, also a tick box to highlight important messages
