Not sure it was noted but when in maps app and you click on your blue dot it gives you the exact location and if avalible street view too....doesn't seem to follow while in street view however :( but its cool non the less..
 
i think looking out the window gives you a better view than the google maps street view...
 
The dot follows you when you're on EDGE too.
The GPS doesn't use the cell towers or the iPhone's radio, so why would it be dependent on internet connection speed?
 
This doesn't work for me. I've tapped my blue dot to death and still get nothing. Are you using 3.0 or something?
