Does anyone know whether the new MB/MBPs use SLC or MLC SSD drives? I've read that MLCs have much weaker performance benchmarks vs. SLCs, so am wondering if it's even worth doing the upgrade. My guess is that they have the lower performing MLCs given the competitive $700 price point, but was hoping someone could confirm. I installed an SLC drive into my SR MBP a while back and it was blazing fast, but am skeptical of an MLCs performance vs. a standard 5400RPM HD and whether the additional cost is justified.
