Hey guys,

Just got a new MB last weekend and 2gigs of RAM from OWC that I still need to install.

My question is: what tests should I run when testing that everything is alright with my new laptop. Are there any applications that need to be installed to control that everything is alright, or things I should do to make sure that my computer will stay 'healthy'...

First, I guess I should update the OS version and security patches. Then I probably should check everything is alright before upgrading my RAM...

Thanks for your advices

Hmm, CoreDuoTemp and CoconutBattery would probably help. Just try CPU intensive programs (eg, The GIMP, Garageband, Quicktime Pro (it's really worth the $29, you can use your webcam for podcasts or just plain movies). Otherwise, I believe there's a script that can do it, though I don't know what it is.
