I bought the 2011 1.6 i5 4gb ram 128gb of storage. I am very impressed by how snappy this machine is. The whole package is superb. What i like most is the thin palm rest, you dont get that edge digging into your wrist.

I chose to buy the refurbished model no complaints there. Same with the wifes new ipad.

One question though how do i restore the machine. Does it have a recovery partition?

Yes, it does have the Recovery partition.

Yeah the edge thing is really annoying on the pro. I totally agree, it's so much better on the Air, not just to the thinness but the slanted direction also helps a lot.

Hold Command-R on startup for recovery if I recall correctly.

I thought i would check the spces just for sake of doing it. Well, it turns out i got a bit of a gift. I was supposed to get a 1.6 i5, I got the 1.8 i7. Thats pretty cool, not bad for 999.
