Anxiously awaiting the new announcements so I can order my new MBA 13" very soon now. What will I have to look for to find out whether I'll be able to connect to my 30" cinema display? Currently my 2009 MBP 17" (matte), which I still love but is tiring me out since I commute by bicycle every day, connects just fine to the display via a big-ass adaptor that uses the mini-display port and 1 USB slot. Would this work for the current MBAs, and do you think it will work for the new ones?

could use a mini displayport adapter, providing the new mac mini has thunderbolt.

almost certain it will have usb...

If you are using this adapter or something similar it will work on Thunderbolt Macs.
So aslong as you have a spare Thunderbolt port and USB port to plug the adapter into, which I'm sure the new MacBook Airs will have it will work at maximum resolution.
