New MBA - Apps

I am planning on purchasing a new MBA. I don't want to transfer everything from my iMac over to the new machine, as I want to keep it lean.

Will I be able to re-download any purchased apps form the Mac App store on the new machine?

Yes, if you use the same Apple ID you use on the iMac.
