New MBA M2 - Football Manager

Did a guilt-ridden splurge purchase when MBA went live for purchase. I went top of the line with MBA2 with 24GB Ram and 1TB storage.

Over the past 3 years, my only go-to machine has been my ipad pro which has worked just fine for day to day. I am an avid Football Manager user, and have been using my 2017 MBP to fix my needs.

Looking to combine the two - portability and light usage + intense FM resourcing needs through the new MBA M2.

Anyone who has the MBA M2 pls comment on how FM runs on it? Especially the heating up, and potential throttling?

If it is material, I’ll cancel and go for the MBP M2 - but I really like the form factor of MBA M2.

Can't comment on the M2 sorry but I have a MBA M1 and play FM every day on it and works very well.

I've been playing FM22 on my new M2 Air (16gb). Runs perfectly. Very quick. Laptop is still nice and cool. No warmth.

I didn't play much of it on my MBP, maybe it just didn't feel as nice as this M2 on my lap. I'm sat watching TV playing FM22, first time I've done that in years (used to do it with my 2008 Air!).

ONE observation though.... text at the top of the screen on FM is covered by the frickin notch!? What the.....
