Hi guys,

I posted only a few days ago but now I've found more options and more questions. I'm now trying to decide between the:
2013 MBA 13" 256 SSD and 8GB (~1850)

And a mid 2012 refurb rMBP 15" with i7 256 SSD and 8GB ram (~1850)

http://store.apple.com/au/product/FC975/refurbished-macbook-pro-23ghz-quad-core-intel-i7-with-retina-display

I will use it for normal web browsing and word processing, a little x code and the occasional MW3 on a windows portion.

Which one will last longer doing what I will be doing? ^

I went with the Pro

hey,

I went with the Early 2012 refurb 15" Macbook Pro for $1599. At that price I thought is was a steal (Still do). For what I do the screen real estate is better for my needs and it isn't that heavy that I have to lug it, besidesI have an iPad as well so no need to haul laptop. The Air is a very nice machine and can handle the tasks you throw at it though I think for 1849 you get the 512 GB hard drive in the Air, I tried it and was able to get xcode to work but works better on the 15.

Compare like systems. When it appears in the refurbished store a 13" MBA with 512GB SSD (and a dual core i7) is $1499.
