new mbAir battery life?

those who have got the new MacBook Air, what kind of battery life are you getting? I assume most who are buying airs are using it for 'office productivity' work, like web browsing and word processing, but not something like photo/video editing. under those light work load, how is your battery life, 7-8 hours? 9-10 hours or like 12+ hours.
I'm thinking about replacing my 1st-gen Touch Bar pro because it can't hold a 8-9 hour workday.

Ive been using mine for music production/youtube for 2 1/2 hours and its at 66%
