okay, so i decided to sell my nephew my new macbook pro (2011) and order a mba for myself.

my problem is, i put the snow leopard disk in my mbp and restarted the machine holding down c....i'm trying to wipe the machine so it looks brand new...but now i'm sure i did something wrong, when the mbp finished with the snow leopard install the login screen starts up and shows my user name and pic but it won't accept any password that i've ever had on the machine.

what can i do??

thanks for the quick response

is there a way to go on and install a few programs on there iwork and then delete the login account and so he can go in and make his login when he gets the computer?
