Hi,

I was thinking to buy a MBP (to make the RAM and SSD upgrades later) but I see that a refurbished MBP15" is 1.399€ and I was wondering if maybe this second option is maybe the best one. What do you think? Does someone know about benchmarks?

The mayor factor will be that in the 15", the resolution is higher...

any clue?

It really depends on what you're planning to do with it. Sure the resolution is a bit higher (1440x900 vs 1280x800, so not a major increase) but the main difference is in raw processing performance, meaning a quad core vs dual core.

Had the same question here. The late 11 15" was around 300€ more expensive than the 12 13". Ended up going for teh 13" and saving money for SSD/RAM upgrade. ;)
