New MBP 13" - Memory Question

I just picked up the base 13" MBP today and was wondering if it's got 1 - 4GB chip or 2 - 2GB chips. I'm not ready to open it up quite yet.

Hi! If you want to see exactly what you've got under the hood without opening it up you can go to the menu bar and:

> About This Mac > More Info > Memory

This should also tell you what sort of memory you've got (and what else is in there!)

Yeah, know what you mean- this was my first proper computer and it took a couple of months to get the hang of 'the mac way'- its fantastic when you get to grips with it though, and this forum was a massive help with that. Best of luck with it!
