I just got a New MBP 15.4 inch 2.8 c2d setup. I really love it, I was just hoping you guys could give me a couple suggestions as to what type of applications I should consider downloading as well as what kind of things I should be looking for?
also I heard there are a few different displays some are "slightly" better then others, could you guys tell me how to find what kind of screen i have as well as which is considered the "better" screen? I love how this one looks so I wouldn't even think of trying to return it, I'm just curious.
Lastly, I read somewhere about a way to calibrate the battery to receive better battery life, how would I go about that, if its actually true?

Perhaps do a search on these forums for useful apps. I'd imagine this question has been asked before. Like every hour on the hour.
