New MBP 17" or MBA 17" ?

If Apple were to release/bring back the 17" form factor, what would you prefer in its incarnation? A MBP as we know it or a leaner lighter MBA type 17"?

Your thoughts? (Apart from it will never happen)

We all know the point of MBA is portability.
And introducing the 17in to the MBA family kills the point of the "Air".

So MBP all the way.
Screen size, power, and the option to customize allows the 17in be the "Pro".

I agree guys. Just that there was some speculation  was planning on streamlining the laptops into just one line -- the Airs.

I have to say, what I do like about the MBA is the is not glassy, and its got a silver bezel..

I don't think Apple is bringing back a 17" laptop, but if they do, I'm pretty sure it will be a retina MacBook Pro.

I am all for innovation and reinvention, refresh it all they like, bring it on out again, I would love to see the evolution of the 17"MBP any day. I'm all saved up - I got the money now, just for that potential, come on Apple!

I would love to see the power of the pro in a slimmer form factor sure!
