Hey all,I just got my unibody MBPro 2.4, 4gb Ram, 250GB 7200Rpm HD yesterday. I got it from Apple as a replacement for a defective original MBPro. So far so good. I have not tested extensively yet, and will post more as I test more. I read about the plethora of issues people are having and was very worried. First thing I did was fire up WoW, as I am a gamer and the BSOD had me very worried. I played Wow for about an hour on the 9600 card. Everything maxed, but shadows on low and averaged 60 fps in the cities and in the new WOTLK continent. Not sure if that is good or not. I have a Deathknight I was playing, so a lot of spells and action effects. I stopped and popped in COD4 and played for about 40 minutes. No slow down, freezing or BSOD yet. I ran under OSX with stock fan settings. Knock on wood, but so far so good. My machine was made between Nov. 17th and 27th? I have the LG screen. I do have a very small scratch on the lower back case, but very small. I do have a question. Can anyone link something so I can test the light leakage of my screen? The all black image?? So far it looks good, but I am testing everything. I also transferred my itunes and loaded a bunch of programs. My cpu temp has ranged from 40's to 60 C. I will test more extensively with regards to gaming. I will try to get some marathon WoW and COD4 sessions and report back. But so far so good.
